HNLU Shines at South Asia Regional Rounds of FDI Moot 2026
In a remarkable display of legal acumen, the team from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) in Raipur has emerged as the runner-up at the prestigious South Asia Regional Rounds of the 21st Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot, 2026. The event was hosted by Lloyd Law College, Noida, from July 30 to August 2.
The adept HNLU team featured students Tamishra Chakraborty, Kruthika Senthil Kumar, and Malvika Chandra. Among their notable achievements, Kruthika Senthil Kumar was distinguished as the Best Speaker (Claimant) and also earned the accolade for Best Speaker in the final round. Additionally, Tamishra Chakraborty received an honorable mention for her performance as Best Speaker (Claimant).
This runner-up victory has paved the way for HNLU to advance to the final oral rounds, which are slated to take place in Shenzhen, China. The FDI Moot is a globally recognized competition that brings together the brightest legal minds to debate and resolve complex issues in international investment law.
