Prof. (Dr.) VC Vivekanandan, Vice-Chancellor of HNLU, highlighted the indispensable role of youth in cultivating a socially responsible and healthy society. He remarked, “A Viksit Bharat must be anchored by the strength of healthy, informed, and empowered youth. Combating substance abuse should transcend regulation and enforcement, evolving into a movement of awareness, individual accountability, and collective social action. Universities hold a pivotal duty to nurture young minds that can serve as proponents of healthy choices and transformative change.”
Prof. Vivekanandan reiterated HNLU’s dedication to raising awareness within its student community and contributing to the national objective of building an informed, empowered, and drug-free India. As part of the event, attendees generated their personalized Pledge Certificates online via the MY Bharat Application.
Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Registrar of HNLU, managed the institutional logistics for the event, while Dr. Kaumudhi Challa, Convenor of LSSC HNLU, expressed gratitude in her formal vote of thanks.
