BNP Paribas Cardif has successfully acquired a substantial 26% stake in IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Limited from Carmel Point Investments Ltd, an entity owned by Warburg Pincus. This transaction is contingent upon receiving necessary approvals from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and the Competition Commission of India.
