The Legal Services Clinic at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) School of Law is set to host the first-ever KIIT Inter-University Client Counselling Competition (KIUCCC) in 2026. This exciting event, organized in collaboration with SCC Times, invites law students from across India to demonstrate their client counselling skills.
Competition Overview
The KIUCCC will be conducted in a hybrid format, featuring both online and offline stages. The initial online rounds are scheduled for September 19, while the offline rounds will occur on September 27. Law students from recognized institutions across the country, enrolled in either 3-year or 5-year programs, are eligible to participate.
Important Dates and Registration
- Registration Deadline: September 15
- Online Preliminary Rounds: September 19
- Results Announcement (Online Rounds): September 20
- Offline Rounds, Results, and Valedictory Ceremony: September 27
Registration slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested participants are required to pay a registration fee of ₹2,000 per team. Teams that qualify will incur an additional charge of ₹2,500.
Prizes and Recognition
- Winner: ₹25,000, Trophy, and Certificate
- Runner-up: ₹15,000, Trophy, and Certificate
- Best Counsel: ₹10,000, Trophy, and Certificate
- Best Client: ₹10,000, Trophy, and Certificate
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation
