In a significant move within the legal industry, Abhijit Narayan is departing from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer to join Touchstone Partners as an Equity Partner. Narayan will be based in Delhi, returning to India after an illustrious international career.
Touchstone Partners’ Managing Partner, Karam Daulet-Singh, expressed enthusiasm about Narayan’s arrival. “I have known Abhijit for many years now. Cross-border is in the DNA of Touchstone. So when he approached us with a desire to focus on India inbound as well as outbound, we felt it would be a natural fit. Abhijit Narayan is a distinguished alumnus of Campus Law Centre at the University of Delhi, holding an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law. With over 17 years of experience, he has honed his skills at several prestigious firms including Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Slaughter and May, and Hengeler Mueller. Narayan is renowned for his expertise in cross-border private equity and M&A transactions across diverse sectors.
