Khaitan & Co, a leading law firm in India, recently announced the departure of Susmit Pushkar, a key partner in their Disputes Practice. Pushkar has decided to embark on a new professional journey by establishing his independent legal practice.

Susmit Pushkar is a distinguished alumnus of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, where he graduated in 2004. He furthered his education by obtaining an LL.M. in Corporate and Constitutional Law from Harvard Law School in 2009. His tenure at Khaitan & Co spanned nearly two decades, during which he played a pivotal role in the firm’s success.
Throughout his career, Pushkar has offered expert legal advice and representation to corporations and high-net-worth individuals. His areas of expertise include enforcement investigations, prosecutions, complex regulatory matters, substantial arbitration claims, and various business-related legal issues.
