Abhay Chattopadhyay Joins Dentons Link Legal as Partner

Abhay Chattopadhyay has embarked on a new professional journey by joining Dentons Link Legal as a Partner in their Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Practice, located in Delhi. Chattopadhyay, who completed his law degree from ILS Law College, Pune in 2010 and subsequently obtained his LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2013, brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years.

His expertise lies in advising and representing both domestic and international clients embroiled in intricate and high-stakes disputes. Chattopadhyay’s legal practice encompasses a wide array of areas including commercial litigation, both domestic and international arbitration, insolvency, white-collar investigations, regulatory enforcement, and intellectual property. He is particularly known for his adept handling of cases where commercial disputes intersect with regulatory or criminal concerns.

Throughout his career, Chattopadhyay has made regular appearances before the Supreme Court of India as well as various High Courts and tribunals nationwide. He is also actively involved in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including those conducted under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). His advisory services extend across several sectors such as infrastructure, energy, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, technology, media and entertainment, manufacturing, and financial services.

Chattopadhyay will be accompanied by a team of adept lawyers, all specializing in dispute resolution and arbitration, as he integrates into Dentons Link Legal. Prior to this appointment, he served as a Partner at Economic Laws Practice.
