KP Group Expands with Strategic Acquisition
Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, an entity under the KP Group umbrella, has successfully secured a controlling interest in DEK and Mavericks Green Energy Limited. This strategic acquisition was executed through a share swap arrangement, allowing Sun Drops Energia to obtain shares from existing stakeholders of DEK and Mavericks Green Energy. In exchange, the selling shareholders will receive compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) from Sun Drops Energia, as per the Share Swap Agreement.

The advisory firm Sidebar played a pivotal role in guiding KP Group and Sun Drops Energia throughout the transaction. Their expertise extended across several critical areas, including structuring the deal, navigating legal and regulatory complexities, conducting thorough due diligence, and negotiating the terms of the Share Swap Agreement.
