The Consortium of National Law Universities has officially announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 will take place on December 6, 2026. The examination is set to occur between 2 PM and 4 PM, as confirmed in a recent press release by the Consortium. This decision was finalized on July 18, 2026, during meetings of the Consortium’s executive committee and governing body.

Prospective candidates should note that the online application portal for CLAT 2027 will be accessible starting August 3, 2026. The portal will remain open for submissions until October 31, 2026, providing a substantial window for applicants to complete their registration.
