In a significant development within the Indian legal industry, Rohan Jain and Kshitij Arora, formerly of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM), are set to bolster the ranks of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) as Partners in the firm’s General Corporate practice located in Delhi.

Experienced Professionals Join CAM

Rohan Jain, a 2011 graduate from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, brings nearly 15 years of profound experience. Jain, also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, has a specialized focus on mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and international), joint ventures, and private equity investments. His client portfolio includes Indian and global corporations, public sector enterprises, high-net-worth individuals, startups, and non-profit entities. Jain’s advisory expertise spans general corporate legalities, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, business structuring, direct investments, and company law advisory. Jain’s professional journey at SAM began a decade ago when he joined the firm as an Associate.

Seasoned Expertise in Corporate Transactions

Joining him is Kshitij Arora, a 2015 graduate from Symbiosis International University, who has accumulated over a decade of experience in the field. Arora’s expertise lies in general corporate transactions, with a strong emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Over the last seven years, Arora has been an integral part of the SAM team, providing adept guidance in corporate affairs.

Leadership and Transition

Both Jain and Arora have been key members of Jay Gandhi’s team at SAM, contributing significantly to the firm’s operations and client relations. Their move to CAM is anticipated to further enhance the firm’s capabilities and client service in the corporate sector.

Upon their departure, SAM’s Managing Partner, Pallavi Shroff, extended her best wishes to both Jain and Arora, acknowledging their contributions to the firm.
