The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai, in collaboration with the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) – IPR Chair and Centre for Research in Intellectual Property (CRIP), is offering a comprehensive Online Certificate Course focused on the Protection of Trademarks, Copyrights, Designs, Geographical Indications, and Plant Varieties & Farmers’ Rights in India.
About the Course
Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), encompassing trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, geographical indications (GI), and the Protection of Plant Varieties & Farmers’ Rights (PVP&FR), are fundamental in promoting innovation, creativity, and industrial development. Given the dynamic changes within India’s IPR framework, including digital advancements and procedural reforms, it is imperative for students, professionals, academicians, and innovators to acquire both practical and theoretical expertise in intellectual property law.
To address this need, MNLU Mumbai’s “One Week Online Certificate Course on Trade Marks, Copyrights, Designs, GI, and PPV & FR in India” aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the legal structures, registration processes, protective measures, and current trends related to IPR. The course will be delivered by seasoned academicians, senior officials from the Indian Intellectual Property Office, and distinguished IPR professionals.
