The second season of the LawStrings Pickleball Cup concluded with remarkable success in Delhi, uniting top law firms and in-house legal teams for a vibrant two-day event. The competition blended sport, camaraderie, wellness, and networking in an environment distinct from the courtroom.
This year’s tournament saw participation from leading entities in India’s legal sector, including Cyril Amarchand & Mangaldas, Bharti Airtel Group, AZB & Partners, Luthra & Luthra, Talwar Thakore & Associates, JSA Advocates & Solicitors, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, DSK Legal, DMD Advocates, Fox & Mandal, Aekom Legal, Obhan & Mason, SKV Legal, Foresight Legal, and the Law Offices of Gaurav H Sethi Advocates and Solicitors India.
DMD Advocates clinched the Gold Cup after a series of thrilling matches. The team, consisting of Kunal Dutt, Chaitanya Kaushik, Haaris Faazili, Suman Yadav, Veni Tandon, Raghav Dutt, Sanya Dhir, and Saurabh Singh Ahluwalia, emerged victorious in the second season.
The Silver Cup was awarded to AZB & Partners, represented by Rachit Bahl, Ayush Tandon, Jatinder Singh Saluja, Shagun Badhwar, Arjun Narang, Ananya Singh, Shivangi Bhardwaj, Dhruv Mehta, and Paridhi Gupta. Meanwhile, Aekom Legal secured the Bronze Cup, with team members Jasjeet Singh, Shubham Raghuwanshi, Vibhor Kapoor, Kinjal Sharma, Kinjal Goyal, Advityaa Makkar, Teena Malhotra, Amisha Ray, Sujoy Datta, and Aarsheya Sharda.
The award ceremony was enhanced by the presence of notable figures such as Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal (Retd.), former Judge of the Delhi High Court and President of the State Commission of India; Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms; and Dilip Mohanty, Director of Competition & Development at the Indian Pickleball Association. Their involvement underscored the growing importance of sport in fostering community and wellness within the legal profession.
The LawStrings Pickleball Cup: Season 2 was officially sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, as the country’s official National Sports Federation for pickleball.
A variety of partners supported the tournament, contributing to an enriched experience for participants.
