Fortis Healthcare Limited has announced a significant collaboration with Seth Sunder Lal Jain Charitable Eye Hospital, aiming to deliver advanced healthcare services through a new super specialty hospital in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. This strategic partnership will enable the SLJ Society to construct, upgrade, and manage a state-of-the-art facility with over 400 beds.
The SLJ Society will own, operate, and manage the hospital, while Fortis will provide the necessary healthcare services. The SLJ Society will also own and develop the land, building, and associated civil and certain medical infrastructures required for this project.
As part of this collaboration, Fortis has executed a series of comprehensive agreements with SLJ Society, including a healthcare services agreement, a loan agreement, and various ancillary agreements.
Saraf and Partners played a pivotal role in advising Fortis Healthcare and its wholly owned subsidiary, Fortis Hospotel Limited, on all facets of this partnership. The transaction was spearheaded by a team of seasoned legal professionals, including Vaibhav Kakkar (Senior Partner), Sahil Arora (Partner), Debarpan Ghosh (Partner), and Keshav Pareek (Partner).
