Ritesh Agarwal Invests in Jewelry Brand Emori; Rise Legal Facilitates Shark Tank Deal

Ritesh Agarwal, the entrepreneurial force behind PRISM, the parent company of OYO, has expanded his portfolio once more by investing in Emori (Arja Technologies Private Limited), a burgeoning lab-grown diamond jewelry brand. This strategic investment took place during the fifth season of the popular show Shark Tank India, where Agarwal is a prominent investor and mentor.

Rise Legal, a distinguished legal firm, provided advisory and representation services to Ritesh Agarwal’s family office for this transaction. The deal was spearheaded by Ritika Ganju, the firm’s Managing Partner, with vital contributions from Mohana Dasyam (Senior Associate), Milind Sharma (Associate), and Tejaswini Choudhary (Associate).

Established in September 2023 by Arushi Jain, Emori is headquartered in Gurugram and specializes in lab-grown diamond jewelry. The brand focuses on millennials and Gen Z consumers, offering budget-friendly 18K and 14K gold jewelry.

Ritesh Agarwal’s investment strategy through his family office encompasses a wide range of sectors including consumer brands, technology, fintech, and healthcare. His participation in Emori signals a continued commitment to bolstering high-potential Indian startups. As a shark on Shark Tank India, Agarwal not only invests capital but also mentors emerging entrepreneurs, reinforcing his dedication to nurturing promising ventures in the Indian consumer market.

This investment marks a significant step for the lab-grown diamond sector in India, as it aims to capture a larger share of the jewelry market by appealing to the values and preferences of younger consumers.
