Axis Finance Limited recently completed the issuance of rated, listed, secured, and taxable redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs), totaling an impressive $41.75 million. This issuance was conducted on a private placement basis.
The esteemed law firm CMS IndusLaw lent its expertise to Axis Finance for this financial maneuver. The advisory team was led by Partner Abir Lal Dey, who was ably supported by Associates Khushi Sharma and Soham Dwibedi. Notably, this team also played a pivotal role in advising Axis Finance on a similar $45 million NCD issuance in the previous month.
The issuance was structured with a base issue of ₹100 crore and included a green shoe option that extended up to ₹300 crore. These debentures have been listed on BSE Limited, with Catalyst Trusteeship Limited serving as the Debenture Trustee.
This successful issuance underscores Axis Finance’s robust access to the domestic debt capital markets and highlights its strategic approach to diversifying funding sources. By enhancing its liquidity profile, the company aims to bolster its financial flexibility. The funds raised will be channeled towards supporting long-term lending activities and refining its asset-liability management strategy.
