Sawant is a graduate of the University of Mumbai and furthered her legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LLM) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her nearly 15-year career spans various aspects of the insurance industry, including regulatory compliance, corporate legal affairs, litigation management, and contract administration. Her expertise is expected to bolster Allianz Jio’s legal and compliance framework significantly.
Before joining Allianz Jio, Sawant served for a year at Mahindra Insurance Brokers, where she honed her skills in managing complex legal and compliance issues. Her professional journey includes noteworthy tenures at Liberty General Insurance and ICICI Lombard, where she played pivotal roles in shaping legal strategies and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
