Syrma SGS Technology Limited has announced an influential joint venture with Kaga Electronics India Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of the renowned Japanese firm, Kaga Electronics Co. Ltd. This strategic partnership is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of both companies in the rapidly evolving electronics manufacturing sector.
Argus Partners played a crucial advisory role for Syrma SGS in this collaborative venture. The legal team from Argus Partners that managed this transaction included notable figures such as Abhinav Bhalaik and Aayush Kumar, both Partners at the firm, alongside Associate Paridhi Rastogi.
Last year, Argus Partners also provided counsel to Syrma SGS in forming joint ventures with Italy’s Elemaster and South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics, showcasing their expertise in facilitating international business collaborations.
Kaga Electronics India is a key player in manufacturing and distributing electronic components for various applications, including in-car devices, air-conditioning systems, and home appliances. This joint venture positions Syrma SGS with a commanding 60% stake, while Kaga Electronics India will hold the remaining shares. The new entity aims to establish a technologically advanced manufacturing facility in India, primarily serving Japanese clientele.
This collaboration is set to leverage the strengths of both partners, fostering innovation and efficiency in electronics manufacturing services, while enhancing their market presence in India.
