The duo, along with their team from CMS IndusLaw, will now operate out of Argus Partners’ New Delhi office. Kumar will also take on the role of Head of the Japan and South Korea Desk, an area of significant focus for the firm.

Kumar has provided legal counsel across numerous jurisdictions, including the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and Singapore.
Swathi Sreenath, with a decade of experience, specializes in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic financial investments, joint ventures, and business restructurings. Her sector experience covers manufacturing, e-commerce, IT, services, fintech, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals, among others. She has advised on transactions involving countries like Japan, South Korea, Singapore, France, Germany, the UAE, the US, and the UK.
