Calcutta High Court’s Decision on TMC’s Frozen Accounts
On Monday, the Calcutta High Court delivered a significant ruling by refusing the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) permission to access three bank accounts that have been frozen under the directive of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Interim Order by Justice Krishna Rao
Justice Krishna Rao, presiding over the case, issued an interim order which maintained the status quo, thereby not lifting the freeze on the accounts while the TMC’s legal challenge against the ED’s decision is pending.
