Supreme Court Collegium Endorses Judicial Appointments for Karnataka High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium has put forward a significant recommendation concerning the elevation of three judicial officers to the bench of the Karnataka High Court. This decision emerged from a meeting conducted by the Collegium on September 10. The individuals proposed for this esteemed elevation include Usharani, KS Bharath Kumar, and Nerale Veerabhadraiah Bhavani.
The Karnataka High Court, which currently operates with 54 judges, stands to benefit from these appointments. The court’s sanctioned strength is 62 judges, highlighting a shortfall that these recommendations aim to address.
