In a significant move within the logistics sector, Alta Capital Management LLP, operating through its logistics platform Logicap, has successfully acquired warehousing assets from Xander Investment Management, a firm based in Singapore. This acquisition is structured into two distinct phases. The initial phase, valued at approximately ₹1,500 crore, encompasses 2.6 million square feet of logistics facilities located in Chennai and Kolkata. Notably, the Chennai logistics park is situated within a free trade zone, while the Bagnan site, near Kolkata, strategically serves the eastern consumption corridors. Both of these facilities are fully operational and currently at full occupancy.
