DSK Legal and Partners Facilitate MOI SOI's First Institutional Fundraise

MOI SOI, a distinguished name in the packaged food and beverage sector, has successfully secured its initial institutional funding round. The brand, which operates under Ceres Foods Private Limited, received investments from prominent entities including GVFL Emerging Enterprise Venture Trust and Wipro Consumer Care Ventures.

DSK Legal played a pivotal role in guiding Ceres Foods and its founder, Deb Mukherjee, through this significant fundraising event. The legal intricacies of the deal were managed by Aparajit Bhattacharya, a Partner at DSK Legal, who served as both the relationship and lead engagement partner. He was supported by a proficient team comprising Harvinder Singh (Partner), along with Principal Associates Manhar Gulani and Mala Mehto. Associates Brijesh Ranjan Sahoo and Sumedha Tewari also contributed to the successful execution of the transaction.

IC RegFin Legal represented Wipro Consumer Care Ventures in this transaction. The efforts were spearheaded by Puneet Shah, a Senior Partner at the firm, with crucial support from Principal Associate Abhinav Gupta and Senior Associate Daksh Dave.

Sarvaank Associates provided legal counsel to GVFL for this fundraising endeavor. The team was led by Ankita Singh, the Managing Partner, with valuable contributions from Senior Associate Sanchita Gupta, and Associates Dipanjana Das and Aakriti Singh.

MOI SOI is renowned for its Asian-cuisine inspired offerings, including instant meals, sauces, and canned beverages. This strategic investment has resulted in GVFL and Wipro Consumer Ventures acquiring approximately 17% of the company, while founder Deb Mukherjee continues to hold the majority stake, ensuring the brand’s growth aligns with its original vision.
