Introduction to the Course
In response to the enforcement of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the recent enactment of the Telecommunications Act, 2023, National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has partnered with Mentblue to offer a comprehensive certificate course. This initiative aims to equip law students and professionals with practical expertise in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), data protection, and fintech. As artificial intelligence governance evolves, it is imperative for aspiring legal professionals to possess the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate these complex regulatory landscapes effectively.
The Course Structure
The Certificate Course on TMT, Data Protection & Fintech is part of ‘The Practice Series,’ a collaborative endeavor that simulates real-world legal practice. Scheduled to commence on August 22, 2026, the program features 16 live online sessions led by esteemed practitioners from top-tier Indian law firms. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of drafting technology contracts, creating compliance frameworks for the DPDP Act, and addressing issues related to telecom licensing, platform intermediary liability, and digital finance, among others.

Program Details
The course will be conducted online over weekends from August to October 2026, with each session starting at 11:00 AM IST. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NLU Delhi’s Centre for Regulatory Studies.
