Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) and Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP) have initiated the India Arbitration Survey 2026. This survey aims to collect insights from the arbitration community in preparation for the upcoming India ADR Week 2026.
Both SAM and BCLP are participating as Knowledge Partners in this endeavor. The survey is designed to gather opinions from a diverse group, including arbitrators, legal counsel, in-house legal teams, academics, experts, and representatives from arbitration institutions. Its purpose is to identify the opportunities, challenges, and priorities currently influencing the arbitration landscape in India.
The survey will be open for responses until August 25, 2026. The results will be presented during India ADR Week 2026, with the Chief Justice of India, Surya Kant, overseeing the release.
Arbitration professionals who wish to contribute their perspectives can participate in the survey by accessing it through the provided link.
