Union Bank of India, operating through its branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre, has successfully issued $600 million in senior unsecured notes, structured in two tranches. The esteemed law firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co played a pivotal advisory role in this significant financial transaction.
The legal team was spearheaded by Partner Shubhangi Garg, with substantial contributions from Principal Associate Ankeeta Parhi, Senior Associate Sandeep Grewal, and Associate Dhwanit Rathor. The issuance includes $300 million in 5.230% Senior Unsecured Notes maturing in 2029, and an additional $300 million in 5.417% Senior Unsecured Notes set to mature in 2031. These notes were distributed to eligible investors residing outside the United States, complying with Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933.
