According to the notice, this fake website poses a significant risk by employing phishing tactics to potentially extract sensitive personal information and secure credentials from unsuspecting users. The Supreme Court registry emphasized the critical nature of this threat, advising all stakeholders to refrain from sharing any personal or financial details that could facilitate data theft.
The advisory reiterated warnings from previous public notices dated July 16, 2025, and April 28, 2026, which alerted the public about similar fraudulent activities targeting the Supreme Court’s digital presence. The registry strongly urged individuals to exercise caution and thoroughly verify the legitimacy of any electronic communications before responding or interacting with them.

The Supreme Court clarified that its official domain is sci.gov.in, and advised users to be vigilant by checking URLs carefully, for instance, by hovering over links before clicking. This practice can prevent accidental engagement with malicious sites.
