Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has made a strategic move to enhance its Banking & Loan Finance practice within the Middle East by appointing Adil Hussain to their Dubai office. Previously with Baker McKenzie, Hussain is renowned for his expertise in both conventional and Shariah-compliant financing, as well as multi-sourced financial arrangements across international and Middle Eastern markets.

Extensive Experience and Recognized Expertise

Hussain’s career is marked by his involvement in pioneering financing transactions and the development of innovative financial products throughout the region. With significant experience in the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, he stands out as a leading figure recognized by major legal directories, particularly in the realm of Islamic finance.

He has provided counsel to a diverse array of clients, including international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market entities engaged in intricate financing transactions. Prior to his new role, Hussain led as the Global Head of Islamic Finance at Baker McKenzie and was at the helm of the firm’s Banking & Finance practice in the Middle East.
