King Stubb & Kasiva has announced the appointment of Kaushal Parsekar as a Partner within its Litigation and Dispute Resolution division in Mumbai. This strategic addition to the firm underscores its commitment to expanding its legal expertise in key practice areas.
Kaushal Parsekar, an alumnus of KC Law College, graduated in 2014 and brings over a decade of rich experience in litigation and dispute resolution. His career has been marked by successful representation and advisory roles for leading corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and regulatory authorities in a myriad of commercial disputes. Parsekar’s extensive practice includes handling commercial suits involving matters such as declaration, specific performance, confidentiality, and non-solicitation. Additionally, he has expertise in writ petitions, appeals, guardianship petitions, and domestic arbitrations, overseeing cases from the pre-arbitration phase through to the enforcement and execution of arbitral awards.
Parsekar’s legal acumen has also been sought by government regulatory bodies, notably the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), where he has represented them in securities law litigation. His prior role was with Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla, where he honed his expertise over the past four years. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration.
