Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys (SCIP) has announced the strategic appointment of Nikhil Sharma and Arjit Benjamin as Partners to enhance its disputes practice. These new additions are set to strengthen the firm’s capabilities in handling complex legal disputes, particularly in the realm of intellectual property.
With an impressive 13-year career in contentious intellectual property law, Nikhil Sharma brings a wealth of experience to SCIP. An alumnus of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, Sharma has represented both Indian and international clients in numerous infringement, passing off, and enforcement cases. Prior to joining SCIP, he honed his expertise at Rahul Chaudhry & Partners, making significant contributions to the field.
Arjit Benjamin, a graduate of Amity Law School, specializes in trademark and copyright disputes, as well as civil and commercial litigation. His 11-year legal journey includes appearances before the Delhi High Court, various District Courts, tribunals, the Trade Marks Registry, and the Copyright Office. Benjamin joins SCIP from Prosoll Law, where he led the civil-commercial litigation and intellectual property practice.
In addition to these Partner appointments, SCIP has also expanded its litigation team by hiring two Senior Associates.
