Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited has officially appointed Pooja Bedi as its new General Counsel and Company Secretary. Bedi brings over 25 years of extensive legal and business leadership expertise, having worked across various sectors including FMCG, alcoholic beverages, healthcare, and technology. Her career includes significant international experience, which complements her deep understanding of the Indian market.
With academic credentials as a lawyer, a Fellow Company Secretary, and an Executive MBA from CEIBS, Shanghai, Bedi has a proven track record of advising Boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams in complex and highly regulated environments. Her areas of expertise encompass corporate governance, risk management, compliance, regulatory strategy, business transformation, and strategic advisory, all of which integrate legal knowledge with a robust commercial insight into business operations.
Before joining Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), Bedi held the position of Chief Counsel – India at Mondelēz India. Her impressive resume also includes senior legal and compliance roles at prominent companies such as Philips, JUUL, AB InBev, and Pernod Ricard.
In her new role at HCCB, Pooja Bedi will oversee the company’s Legal, Compliance, and Secretarial functions. She will collaborate closely with the Board and the leadership team to guide governance, regulatory affairs, and corporate compliance initiatives.
