In a significant move to enhance its expertise in the fields of technology, intellectual property (IP), and media, White & Brief has welcomed a distinguished three-partner team from ANM Global. Spearheading this team is Rahul Dhote, who steps into the role of Head of IP, Technology, and Media & Entertainment at the firm. Joining him are Varunraj Vinayak Limaye and Dr. Venkatesh Seshan, both of whom bring a wealth of experience in patent practice.
Rahul Dhote: A Legal Luminary
Rahul Dhote is a noted figure in the legal domain, having represented a variety of clients ranging from multinational corporations to high-net-worth individuals and emerging businesses. Known for delivering pragmatic legal solutions, Dhote has been at the forefront of numerous landmark disputes and complex commercial transactions. His prowess in the field has earned him recognition as one of India’s leading lawyers by notable national and international publications. Prior to joining White & Brief, Dhote was an Equity Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property practice at ANM Global and co-founded the multi-service firm “Literati Juris”.
Varunraj Vinayak Limaye: An Expert Patent Advocate
Varunraj Vinayak Limaye brings over 16 years of diverse experience in Indian and US patent law. As a registered Indian Patent Agent and Advocate, he has adeptly represented clients before the Indian Patent Office and various High Courts. Limaye’s expertise spans several technical and regulated sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, and more. His academic credentials include an MSc and an LLB, and he is a DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor.
Dr. Venkatesh Seshan: A Global Perspective on Patents
Dr. Venkatesh Seshan adds a global dimension to the team with over 11 years of experience in the Indian and European patent landscapes. His background includes working with one of Europe’s preeminent intellectual property firms, providing him with a comprehensive view on patent strategy and innovation protection. Dr. Seshan holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics and a master’s in Nanoscale Science, with expertise spanning electronics, semiconductors, AI, and more.
