CMS INDUSLAW, SAM, TT&A, and CAM Advise on Yulu Bikes' $93 Million Series C Fundraise

Yulu Bikes Private Limited has successfully secured a total of $93 million through its recent Series C fundraising round. This financing comprises $63 million in equity, spearheaded by GEF Capital Partners, and an additional $30 million in debt. The legal advisory for Yulu Bikes during this funding phase was provided by CMS INDUSLAW.

In this transaction, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co represented the lead investor, GEF Capital Partners, offering their expertise and support. Meanwhile, TT&A provided legal counsel to Bajaj Auto Limited, an existing investor involved in this deal. The transaction team at TT&A was led by Partner Punita Gupta, alongside Counsel Akshita Alok and Senior Associate Prerna Raturi.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) was also engaged in this transaction, advising another existing investor, Magna, and ensuring their interests were well-represented.

Yulu, known for its innovative approach to urban mobility, offers shared, low-speed electric two-wheelers designed to facilitate short-distance travel and enhance last-mile connectivity. With this new influx of capital, Yulu plans to broaden its business operations and introduce ‘Yulu Express,’ a new venture focused on faster scooters intended for longer-distance deliveries and bike-taxi services.

The strategic investments and legal partnerships underline the confidence investors have in Yulu’s growth trajectory and its potential to redefine urban transportation solutions.
