Legal Experts Guide Blue Jet Healthcare's ₹800 Crore QIP

Blue Jet Healthcare Limited recently completed a significant financial milestone by executing a qualified institutions placement (QIP) comprising 15,810,276 equity shares, raising a total of ₹800 crore. This strategic move was facilitated by the expertise of several prominent legal firms, ensuring a seamless and compliant transaction.

AZB & Partners’ Role

AZB & Partners served as the legal advisors to Blue Jet Healthcare for this QIP. Their involvement underscored the firm’s proficiency in handling complex financial transactions within the healthcare sector.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas’ Contribution

On the other side of the transaction, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas provided legal counsel to the placement agents, namely Motilal Oswal Investment Advisor Limited and ICICI Securities Limited. The legal team was spearheaded by Ravi Dubey, Partner and Regional Co-Head of Capital Markets (West), alongside Partner Oishika Dasgupta. Senior Associate Abishek Sankar, with the support of Associates Akshita Dhawan, Nikshetaa Jain, Chinmay Jumde, and Mitali Mangalam, played crucial roles in the successful execution of this placement.

Hogan Lovells, a renowned international law firm, provided their expertise to the placement agents from an international legal perspective. The operation was led by Biswajit Chatterjee, Head of the India Practice and Managing Partner of the Dubai Office, ensuring global legal compliance and strategic advice.
