Tru Native F&B Private Limited, operating under the brand name TruNativ, has successfully secured $30 million through a Series B funding round led by the global healthcare investment firm Orbimed. The legal expertise for this significant financial transaction was provided by Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, who advised TruNativ. The advisory team from the firm included Partner Navruz Vakil, Senior Associate Daksh Hemnani, Associate Vidhhii Shah, and Consultant Alena Advani.
On the other side of the transaction, JSA Advocates & Solicitors extended their legal counsel to OrbiMed Asia V Mauritius Limited. This team was spearheaded by Partner Minhaz Lokhandwala and included Principal Associate Riya Gupta, along with Associates Yash Borana, Sanjana Sreenath, Akarsh Aryan, and Saket Mishra.
TruNativ is recognized as an internet-first, direct-to-consumer (D2C) company, specializing in offering a diverse array of nutrition products at competitive prices. The company provides functional foods, including protein supplements, via its online platform and various e-commerce channels.
