Dhruv Kaushal Joins King Stubb & Kasiva as Data Privacy Partner

In a strategic move to bolster its Data Privacy practice, King Stubb & Kasiva has appointed Dhruv Kaushal as a Partner. Kaushal, a 2016 alumnus of Amity Law School, Delhi, brings with him substantial expertise as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe [CIPP(E)]. With over ten years of experience, he has been pivotal in advising major global corporations and emerging technology enterprises on intricate data protection and technology-related legal matters.

Kaushal has played a significant role in navigating the rapidly changing privacy landscape in India. His experience includes advising Fortune 50 companies and other significant enterprises on compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and various other international privacy statutes. Throughout his career, Kaushal has guided over 110 organizations in achieving DPDP compliance and has conducted more than 250 training sessions focused on privacy awareness and compliance. Additionally, he has been instrumental in managing complex data breach scenarios across multiple jurisdictions, including India, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

Before his tenure at King Stubb & Kasiva, Kaushal held the role of Associate Director in Deloitte India’s Legal and Regulatory Practice. His professional journey also includes significant contributions at EY and HCL. At King Stubb & Kasiva, he aims to enhance the firm’s capabilities in technology law, artificial intelligence, data privacy, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and digital regulatory compliance.
