DSK Legal has recently announced a significant expansion of its team with the appointment of three new Associate Partners. Gauri Jagtap and Meghana Joshi join the firm’s Real Estate practice, while Khushbu Chhajed strengthens the Dispute Resolution practice, specifically focusing on real estate disputes.
Experienced Leaders Join Real Estate Practice
Gauri Jagtap brings over 14 years of expertise in the realm of real estate law. Her extensive practice encompasses a variety of areas including regulatory matters, transaction structuring, acquisitions, due diligence, and commercial real estate transactions. She also has significant experience with redevelopment projects. Jagtap is an alumnus of the University of Mumbai, holding an LLB and a Master of Management Studies in Finance. Her previous roles include positions at Dhaval Vussonji and King Stubb & Kasiva.
Meghana Joshi, with more than 15 years of experience in real estate law, focuses on due diligence and title verification for various land parcels across Maharashtra. Her expertise extends to land acquisitions for township projects, commercial leasing, and transactions involving flats and land parcels. Joshi has advised on land matters related to MIDC, MHADA, SRA, and MCGM. Like Jagtap, Joshi holds an LLB from the University of Mumbai and previously worked with Lexicon Law Partners.
Strengthening Dispute Resolution with Khushbu Chhajed
Khushbu Chhajed joins DSK Legal with 12 years of substantial experience in dispute resolution. Her specialization includes maritime law, infrastructure disputes, project finance claims, and commercial arbitration. Chhajed has represented clients in both domestic and international arbitral tribunals, engaging in proceedings under the ICC, LCIA, LMAA, and SIAC rules. She has also managed the enforcement of arbitral awards before the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India. With a Master’s degree in International Business and Commercial Laws from the University of Manchester, Chhajed previously served at MDP Legal, Advocates & Solicitors, Mumbai.
