Mohit Kundu has officially stepped into the role of Legal Head at Inorbit Malls, a part of the K Raheja Corp Group, beginning June 15, 2026. In his new capacity, Kundu is set to direct the legal, secretarial, and compliance operations for the company across India.
Kundu brings a wealth of experience to the position, having graduated from the University of Mumbai in 2008 and subsequently earning an LLM in Corporate Governance from The University of Manchester in 2009. Throughout his distinguished career, he has provided legal advisory on numerous high-stake transactions. These include land acquisitions, joint development and redevelopment ventures, commercial leasing, title due diligence, project financing, data center transactions, renewable energy projects, and real estate investments across various asset classes.
Before his current appointment, Kundu was affiliated with Dhaval Vussonji & Associates. His career also saw him at Kochhar & Co as a Partner, where he led the Real Estate & Construction practice in the Western region. His leadership roles extend to organizations such as Hariani & Co and Godrej Properties, among others.
Upon his appointment, Kundu expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted to join Inorbit Malls at an exciting stage of its journey. I look forward to working with the leadership team and contributing to the organisation’s continued growth while supporting the business with practical and commercially focused legal solutions.”
Inorbit Malls recently made headlines with a significant acquisition. Veritas Legal and Economic Laws Practice (ELP) represented them in their ₹1,242 crore acquisition of Prozone Realty mall subsidiaries.
