In a significant appointment, NIVEA India has welcomed Priya Dixit as their new General Counsel, serving as Director of Legal and Compliance. Dixit, who graduated from ILS Law College, Pune in 2011, brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the legal domain, particularly as an in-house counsel.
Her professional expertise spans various critical areas in the legal field, including corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), intellectual property, competition law, litigation oversight, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and strategic legal advisory.
Before joining NIVEA India, Priya Dixit held key positions at several prestigious organizations. Her career includes significant roles at Mondelēz International, Hindustan Unilever, and Johnson & Johnson, where she honed her skills in managing legal frameworks and providing strategic guidance.
In her new role at NIVEA India, Dixit will be responsible for shaping the legal strategy of the company. Her responsibilities will include overseeing governance and compliance, advising business leaders on commercial and regulatory issues, and bolstering legal risk management throughout the organization.
