Saurabh Sharma has taken on the role of Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at SPEC Finance IFSC Private Limited. An accomplished legal professional, Sharma graduated in 2011 from Gujarat National Law University, where he continues to contribute as a visiting faculty member. He is also a distinguished member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Bringing over 15 years of legal expertise, Sharma specializes in General Corporate law. His extensive experience covers complex M&A transactions, cross-border deals, joint ventures, private placements, business transfers, and both onshore and offshore reorganizations.
Prior to this new role, Sharma was a Partner at the prestigious law firm JSA. His legal journey also includes significant positions at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and IndusLaw, highlighting his versatile experience across prominent legal firms. This shift to SPEC Finance marks his return to a strategic in-house counsel role, where his insights will undoubtedly steer the company through intricate legal landscapes.
