In a strategic move to bolster its disputes practice, JSA Advocates & Solicitors has announced the appointment of Ishan Gaur as a Partner in their New Delhi office. A 2011 alumnus of the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies in New Delhi, Gaur brings with him over 15 years of extensive legal expertise.
Gaur’s professional journey is marked by his representation of both domestic and international clients in complex commercial and regulatory matters across various judicial and tribunal settings. His legal acumen has been instrumental in advising leading Indian and global corporations involved in intricate domestic and international commercial arbitrations.
His experience spans a multitude of sectors including infrastructure, real estate, hospitality, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and financial services. Gaur has been pivotal in guiding clients through regulatory proceedings, product liability issues, environmental compliance, insolvency, restructuring, and shareholder disputes.
Prior to joining JSA, Gaur honed his legal skills at several prestigious Indian law firms including Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, and Karanjawala & Co. His vast courtroom experience encompasses appearances before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), and numerous arbitral tribunals.
