ZeusIP Advocates LLP, in collaboration with Native AI, has unveiled the Real-time Intelligence Agent (RIA), an advanced AI-driven Intellectual Property platform designed to optimize trademark and patent workflows. RIA aims to automate routine and operational tasks, allowing legal professionals to focus more on analysis, strategy, and advising clients. The platform is crafted to support General Counsel, corporate legal teams, IP practitioners, and law firms by enhancing information gathering, research, and evidence review processes.
The core philosophy of RIA is to augment legal professionals rather than replace them. It functions as a tool to empower lawyers, with AI-generated outputs requiring lawyer-led review, fact-checking, and validation. Although RIA can efficiently handle information processing and research tasks, lawyers retain responsibility for legal strategy, interpretation, and client advice.
The initial module has been deployed across trademarks, patents, and litigation, with more features expected in the coming weeks. Developed within ZeusIP’s own IP practice, RIA integrates the firm’s comprehensive expertise and practical understanding of IP workflows with cutting-edge AI technology. It helps legal teams navigate vast amounts of data, including research, client evidence, and historical information, making it easier to identify, review, and utilize relevant material.
ZeusIP has also introduced email response capabilities, with additional finely-tuned models to be launched soon. By merging technology with ZeusIP’s extensive IP practice experience, RIA strives to enhance the efficiency and consistency of legal workflows.

AI-assisted work intended for client advisories or filings is subject to ZeusIP’s proprietary human-review protocol, known as the F.I.V.E. framework—Fact-check, Improve, Validate, and Enterprise. This framework demands that lawyers rigorously fact-check, enhance AI-generated outputs, and validate the information and sources, applying their expertise and strategic judgment in alignment with client objectives. The Enterprise phase ensures that the lawyer remains in control, interpreting the output, evaluating its relevance to client needs, and deciding on the best course of action. This protocol ensures that RIA accelerates preparatory work without replacing the critical decision-making process.
