Amrita Pandey has become a partner at Hammurabi & Solomon Partners, enhancing their Dispute Resolution practice in Kolkata. Pandey, an alumna of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, also holds an LLM from O.P. Jindal Global University. With over 16 years of notable experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory advisory, she brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
Her professional journey includes representing clients in a variety of legal forums: the Calcutta High Court, National Green Tribunal (NGT), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, and several judicial and quasi-judicial environments. Her proficiency spans diverse areas such as civil and constitutional law, maritime law, service law, criminal prosecutions, appellate and execution proceedings, and industrial disputes.
In addition to her courtroom prowess, Pandey has provided representation and counsel to government departments, agencies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and statutory authorities, tackling complex legal and regulatory issues. Her experience handling high-stake litigation involving public sector entities is particularly noteworthy.
