Job Description

The role primarily involves corporate and commercial litigation, focusing on key legal frameworks such as the Commercial Courts Act, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), the Companies Act, Arbitration, and the Negotiable Instruments Act. This is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals with a background in these areas.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience practicing law before the Trial Courts in Bangalore.
In-depth understanding and practical expertise in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and/or the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Kannada is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research independently and draft notices, plaints, petitions, and other litigation documents.
Coordinate with clients and junior team members to ensure timely and effective litigation management.
Represent clients in District Courts, Commercial Courts, and Arbitration Tribunals.
Assist senior counsel during evidence and argument stages of proceedings.

Additional Requirements

Candidates should be fluent in Kannada and reside within an 8 km radius of the office location.

Remuneration

The salary range is between ₹4.5 to ₹7 lakhs, subject to the candidate’s qualifications and experience. After completing one year, a performance-based incentive model will be implemented. The position includes a probationary period of three months.
