Khaitan & Co Guides DOMS on Strategic Acquisition of Reynolds Pens

Doms Industries Limited has successfully completed the acquisition of the global rights to the renowned ‘Reynolds’ brand, along with key assets, contractual agreements, employees, and liabilities from Reynolds Pens India and five additional subsidiaries of Newell Brands Inc. The transaction was valued at $3.7 million.

Legal advisory for DOMS was provided by the esteemed law firm Khaitan & Co, which played an integral role throughout the entire transaction process. Their advisory services spanned from the initial term sheet phase and comprehensive due diligence to the meticulous drafting, negotiation, and finalization of all transaction documents.

The dedicated transaction team from Khaitan & Co was led by Aravind Venugopal and Aniruddha Basu, both partners at the firm. Other key members included Nishant Mathew (Principal Associate), Raksha H R (Senior Associate), and Shatakshi Gupta (Senior Associate). They received specialized support across various domains to ensure a seamless acquisition process.

Intellectual Property and Employment Due Diligence
