Shamlal, an alumnus of the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, brings over 18 years of substantial legal expertise to the table. His extensive experience spans various domains including corporate law, dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), venture capital transactions, and strategic business advisement.

Shamlal’s professional journey began at Amarchand Mangaldas in New Delhi, where he honed his skills in corporate practice. He later transitioned to litigation, practicing in the chambers of a senior advocate in Delhi. During this time, he appeared before the High Court, district courts, and numerous tribunals across New Delhi, gaining significant litigation experience.

In 2012, Shamlal advanced his career by leading the New Delhi office of GameChanger Law Advisors. Here, he diversified his practice areas to include sports, media, entertainment, technology, as well as venture capital and M&A. This breadth of experience positioned him as a versatile and seasoned legal advisor.

His career trajectory continued upward in 2021 when he joined Zeta, where he was instrumental in establishing and leading the legal team. His leadership extended to affiliated companies, including Titan and Radix, where he was responsible for structuring the legal framework and managing legal matters.
