The Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights (CCJHR) at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) is pleased to announce a new Double Credit Course focusing on Cyber Crime and Cyber Forensics through the Lens of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. This innovative program is designed to equip law students, researchers, and legal practitioners with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of cybercrime and digital investigations.

The course aims to shed light on the complexities of cybercrime, cyber forensics, digital evidence, and emerging technological issues affecting the legal landscape. It will provide invaluable insights into the intersection of law and technology, making it an essential learning opportunity for those aspiring to specialize in this ever-evolving domain.
Expert Faculty and Industry Professionals
Participants will have the rare opportunity to learn from an esteemed panel of academic and industry experts. The faculty includes notable scholars such as Prof. (Dr.) Atul Kumar Pandey from NLIU Bhopal, Prof. Dr. KVK Santhy from NALSAR, and Dr. Shreya Chatterjee from KIIT. In addition, legal practitioners such as Advocate Atul Srivastava, Senior Public Prosecutor in Delhi, and Advocate Bivas Chatterjee, Special Public Prosecutor for Cyber Law and Electronic Evidence, will provide practical perspectives.
Industry insights will be shared by digital forensics and cybersecurity specialists including Gautham Karun, Manjesh Shetty, and Akash Mishra, ensuring a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience that bridges academic theory with real-world application.

Course Details
The course will be held online from July 4 to August 2, 2026, requiring a commitment of 32 hours. Sessions will be conducted via Google Meet, and participants are expected to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%.
Assessment will be carried out through a 100-mark online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination at the conclusion of the course. The registration deadline is July 2, 2026, and the course comprises 21 lectures.
Registration and Fees
The course fee is ₹800 for NLUO students and ₹1300 for external participants. Interested individuals can register by following the steps outlined on the SBI Collect portal, selecting National Law University Odisha, and choosing “Registration for Seminar & Events.” After payment, participants must complete a Google Form to finalize their registration.
