IC RegFin Legal Expands Operations with New GIFT City Office
IC RegFin Legal has unveiled its new office within the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), marking a significant expansion of its operations. The firm, pioneering in its authorization by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) in early 2021, continues to enhance its footprint as an ancillary service provider in this burgeoning financial hub.
The newly inaugurated office is strategically situated in the IFSCA Headquarters Building and is designed to host a team of up to 50 professionals. This expansion not only meets the firm’s current demands but also accommodates its growing client base, including funds, financial institutions, and businesses engaged in the IFSC ecosystem.
Commitment to Growth and Innovation
Tejesh Chitlangi, Managing Partner at IC RegFin Legal, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, noting, “Our new and larger office in GIFT City marks an important milestone in RegFin Legal’s growth journey and reflects our long-term commitment to India’s International Financial Services Centre. As GIFT City rapidly evolves into a globally significant financial and regulatory hub, this expansion gives our growing team the scale, infrastructure, and capacity to deepen our capabilities and serve an increasingly sophisticated and global client base from within the ecosystem.”
Chitlangi highlighted the firm’s early adoption of GIFT City’s potential, emphasizing its evolution into a gateway for cross-border financial services. “As we continue to build RegFin Legal into a leading national platform, our new office, with the capacity to house a significantly larger team, strengthens our ability to support a growing spectrum of funds, financial institutions, asset managers, and businesses,” he added.
Strategic Vision and Future Prospects
Twinkle Dhamecha, Senior Partner and Head of the GIFT City Office at IC RegFin Legal, reiterated the strategic importance of GIFT City, stating, “GIFT City has emerged as a transformative platform for global capital flows, enabling international fund managers to access India’s growth opportunities while providing Indian managers and investors with a gateway to global markets. Today, it stands as a powerful symbol of India’s financial ambitions and an important pillar of the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.”
Dhamecha further noted the rapid transition of GIFT City from a policy initiative to an established international financial centre, promoting innovation in fund management, private capital, and cross-border finance. “At RegFin Legal, we are proud to support this vision by helping clients build investment structures that contribute to the continued growth of the GIFT City ecosystem,” she concluded.
The office expansion is a testament to IC RegFin Legal’s sustained growth, following the enlargement of its New Delhi office in August 2026 and its expansion in Bengaluru earlier the same year.
